Glacier Mountaineer Lodge is located in the heart of the Kicking Horse Mountain Resort alpine village, at the base of the Golden Eagle Express Gondola. It offers king and queen hotel guest rooms, and one-, two-, and three-bedroom condo suites. All suites include full kitchens, fireplaces, and private balconies with views of Kicking Horse Resort or the mountains. Rooms also feature a balcony with mountain views. Accommodations offer premium bedding and free Wi-Fi. Condo suites feature queen beds, a dining table, a living area with satellite TV, gas fireplaces, a washing machine, a dryer, and an ironing board. Guest rooms offer a king or queen bed and an efficiency kitchen with a sink and bar fridge, a DVD player, satellite TV, and recycling bins. The Grizzly Bear Refuge is a 13-minute trail walk away. Guests can ski, golf, snowboard, raft, join wild life tours, and alpine golf. The lodge offers downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and ski equipment rentals. Other outdoor activities include snowshoeing and snow tubing. Visit Burges James Gadsden Provincial Park and Columbia Mountains.

Glacier Mountaineer Lodge has a lobby, lift access, complimentary wireless and wired Internet access, multilingual staff, and ski storage. Registration of your vehicle at the front desk is required. Complimentary storage is available on a first come first serve basis. A smoke-free environment is maintained. Housekeeping is provided on the fourth day of your stay. Contact the hotel directly at least 48 hours prior to arrival for late check-in.

adequate stay with issues
broken elevator afternoon sun
the hot tub was a welcome amenity.
the elevator was broken . this made moving luggage to my room inconvenient. the room lacked air conditioning and became uncomfortably warm in the afternoon sun.

fantastic stay!
convenient restaurant little store useful fireplace mountain views
the location was fantastic. i loved the convenience of having a restaurant and a little store right there! the room had everything i needed, like a fireplace, stove, and even a washer and dryer. i made good use of the balcony for my morning coffee, those mountain views were amazing!
The walls needed some tlc with patched spots missing paint. It looked a little unfinished.

the hotel sits conveniently close to the ski hill, perfect for winter sports. the area is scenic, offering nice views and a mountain atmosphere. it's about 12 kilometers from town.

broken elevator dusty room
The location was quiet.
The elevator was not working when I arrived. This was NOT communicated beforehand. The room was also dusty. The carpet had rips in places.

smooth check-in spacious room great view
Check-in was smooth, and i found parking adequate for my needs (despite some mentions i've read). my room offered a great view, and it was spacious. i appreciated the fan available. I used it with the patio door open to manage the room temperature.
the lack of air conditioning was a slight inconvenience during a particularly warm spell.

The front desk provided bear spray. I appreciated this safety measure in an area known for wildlife. The room offered a fireplace, a stove, and a coffee maker. These amenities allowed for convenient meal preparation.
